Birthing Story

I was due on October 9, 2017 but I gave birth September 17, 2017 (3 weeks earlier)

So anyare?

September 15, 2017.  Friday.

Regular check up with my OB Dra. Binky Santos.

She asked me kung pumutok na ba yung bag of water ko, ako clueless, sabi ko hindi pa, kasi wala pa talaga. I'm expecting it kasi like sa mg palabas sa tv at movies.. So, I didn't really know, ang alam ko hindi pa talaga.

So umuwi kami.

So, Friday night.. Wala naman sumakit. Nakatulog pa ako ng ayos.

September 16, 2017. Saturday.

So kalma lang kami.

Saturday night. Nakatulog naman ako ng ayos.

taken Saturday night 09.16.17

Then came Sunday, September 17, 2017.

Nag selfie after magpalit ng Hospital Gown

9:30 am. Kasi wala talagang pain akong nararamdaman. Change na ako ng hospital gown. Removed all clothes and underwear.

No pain at all.

I feel no pain. As in kaya ko pa naman tumayo at maglakad, pero dahil nasa ospital ako, careful ang kilos at bawal na maglakad, nasa bed lang at may nag assist na paglilipat ng bed.

Nakapwesto for Normal Delivery, pero nung ipuputok na ng OB ko yung bag of water, wala na..

Nag skin test. Nag epidural.

Sinabi pa nung OB ko na "It's a boy.

After ng operation, nag paalam na yung OB ko at yung Anesthesiology, nakapag "Thank you Doc" pa nga ako kasi as in gising talaga ko...

After pala ng operation, hindi ka makakatayo, makakagalaw, steady ka lang, bawal din mag salita at bawal ang unan sa pag higa, as in flat ka lang.. No food and drinks kahit tubig bawal pa...

 First selfie naming Mag-ina

Mga 1:00 am pa ako nakainom ng tubig.

September 18, 2017 Monday.

Marco Sebastian "Basti" Perua Onigo

3:00pm dumating yung OB ko to cleans the wound.

Pregnancy Journey!

This is the very first time and maybe the last time I'll be posting photos of my tummy during my pregnancy. For you to see how my tummy grows during the pregnancy.

I found out I'm pregnant on the 1st day of February 2017. After testing three (3) different types Pregnancy Test Kit with all two red lines results, I am indeed pregnant and we are soon-to-be parents.

I craved for Mcdonalds Cheesy Eggdesal. Atoy's Porkchop. Choco Liquor Cakes. Pancit Bihon. Leche Plan. And oh I so love to eat Chickens... But, I hate spaghetti.

I never go on a diet during my pregnancy, I ate everything I want, but I don't drink sodas just water and fruit juices.

I drink the Anmum Materna Concentrate instead of the usual milk powder for pregnant because it tasted better that the latter.

I had a monthly spotting until the 7th month, it was normal for me, its genetic, my mom was like that when she was pregnant with me.

March 3, 2017 when we first saw the baby and hear his heartbeat through a Transvaginal Ultrasound (TVS).

June 9, 2017 when we found out that we are having a boy.

July 7, 2017 had another ultrasound to confirm baby's gender and yeah its really a boy. And we now have a name for the baby, Marco Sebastian or Baby Basti.

August 20, 2017 bought all the things the baby needs when he came out. Thanks SM City Calamba for its 3 day sale.. We got a lot of discounts and freebies.

September 12, 2017 I had my last ultrasound to check the baby's position.

September 17, 2017 Marco Sebastian was born.

And on the next blog is my birthing story.

July already.

So what happened to June Reveal?

Sadly, the baby's gender didn't showed up when I had my ultrasound last June 9, 2017.
Maybe he/she's hiding because he knows how excited his parents and grand mother-to-be to buy him stuff.

But the OB said, she thinks it's a BOY...
Me too, I think it's a BOY...

Why?
Darker underarms.
Dark necks.

So let's wait, if on my next ultrasound  this 7th of July he will show up...

Let's change the June Reveal to July Reveal and sorry for keeping you waiting...

We're all excited.

Blue or Pink? What do you think?
He or She? What will it be?

Waiting game...

Dream for the Baby

And yes we're having a baby sooner.
As of this posting, I'm on my 21st week.
So konting kembot nalang andyan na si Baby.
I will have an ultrasound on June 17 to know baby's gender.
We're excited to know if its going to be little Cris or little Joel.

And now, I'm looking for the things that I want my baby to have.
And there are five (5) things I really want to buy for our baby.
Some are too expensive for us, kaya baka pangarap nalang talaga.

Ecomom UV Sterilizer
Graco Stroller

Graco Pack 'n Play Playard

 iAngel Baby Carrier
Baby Cuddle Bed and Pillow

But, if I have more enough money, I also want to buy our baby an INUA Bumper Bed from CreamHaus which is very expensive.

That's all. I will soon post what are the things I bought for our baby.

Bun in the Oven!

So we're really pregnant.

After a month since the Pregnancy Test Kit gave us a positive result, our OB schedule us for an Ultrasound to check on the baby's condition inside my womb. I still had light spotting every now and then.

On March 3, 2017, I'm about 9 weeks pregnant when we had an ultrasound
and here it is.

Seeing the baby for the first time and hear his heart beat.
It was so overwhelming.

We really are parents now.
We're excited to meet you baby.
We love you so much.

My estimated due date will be on October 9, 2017.

Thankful February!

I am so grateful that this month opened with a great blessing.

But first, lets have a backtrack from the day we got married.

March 12, 2016 when we got married.
My last monthly period was on February 2016.
I never had a period on March and April.
So we took the pregnancy test and its a negative.

We decided to have a check up with my OB to know what's the problem.

She gave me Duphaston for 5 days
Duphaston tablets 10mg contain dydrogesterone, a synthetic progesterone, used to treat a variety of conditions resulting from a lack of endogenous (naturally produced) progesterone, including menstrual disorders and endometriosis, and for hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and transgender hormone therapy.
I also had my ultrasound and the result is I had a PCOS.

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a problem in which a woman's hormones are out of balance. It can cause problems with your periods and make it difficult to get pregnant. PCOS also may cause unwanted changes in the way you look. If it isn't treated, over time it can lead to serious health problems, such as diabetes and heart disease.
Most women with PCOS grow many small cysts on their ovaries. That is why it is called polycystic ovary syndrome. The cysts are not harmful but lead to hormone imbalances.
Early diagnosis and treatment can help control the symptoms and prevent long-term problems.

When I got my period, April 2016 she gave me a pills for three (3) months (until June 2016) to regulate my period. I take the first pill on the second day of my first period for twenty-one (21) days a month.

After that, when I had my period on July, she gave me another medicine, Ova-mit. I should take this for 5 days start from the 2nd day of my monthly period. I had this meds for five (5) months, until November 2016.
We do monthly pregnancy test and its always negative.

Ova mit Tablet is used for Ovulation disorders and other conditions.
It contains Clomiphene Citrate as an active ingredient.
It works by stimulating the ovaries to release eggs.
After my second month of taking Ova-mit, I had an ultrasound again to check if I'm producing an egg. And the ultrasound shows that my right ovary is producing eggs and it's a sign that I can be pregnant.
After I finished the medicines last November and not getting pregnant by then, we should wait for another 5 months to take the medicines again. My period comes every end of the month or first week (for example, my period for November usually come October 28-November 2). I had my last period on December 27, 2016 to January 2, 2017.

I skipped taking pregnancy test, because I'm tired looking for a negative result. So, I'll wait until the end of January to buy a new pregnancy test kit.

February 1. I, alone, secretly took the test and its positive. I couldn't believe at first so I hide it to myself for a day.

February 3. I told my husband that I might be pregnant. So we bought 3 types of Pregnancy Test Kit from the pharmacy near our home.

And oh la! Its all have a positive result.

We're going to be parents.... ♥♥♥

But the problem is, I had spotting.
We went to our OB to confirm my pregnancy if it's really a 99.99% positive or just a false alarm because I had spotting.

She gave me the same medicines, Duphaston to secure the baby. I took it two (2) times a day for 5 days.

After taking medicines, the spotting stops for a while then it repeats every month on the day of my supposedly monthly period. The OB said that it's not normal but its not frightening. The bleeding come outside the uterus so it means the baby is safe in the womb. It's maybe genetic because my mom also had spotting for eight(8) months when she's pregnant with me.

And to celebrate this new milestone in our life. We went to the
21st Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta
at Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga last February 12, 2016.
Hubby was not in the photo because he was in the car to secure it safety.
